Bet365 to Sponsor Hennessy Heritage Festival
Bet365, one of the leading UK bookmakers, has announced that it has signed a new long-term agreement in terms of which it will become the new headline sponsor for The Racecourse Newbury’s Hennessy Heritage Festival.
The online gambling group will be sponsoring thirteen races over a period of three days which will include the Grade Two Bet365 Long Distance Hurdle. Champion stayer Big Bucks has won this particular race for the past four years.
Hennessy, the world’s largest cognac producer and Bet365’s fellow sponsor, has also extended its deal with the Racecourse Newbury’s Hennessy Heritage Festival for a further three years.
According to Denise Coates, joint chief executive of Bet365, the Hennessy Gold Cup is one of the most esteemed races run in the National Hunt calendar and is known to be a great favorite amongst racing fans. Coates added that they are thrilled to be supporting the Heritage Festival and are eagerly looking forward to working with The Racecourse Newbury as well as with Hennessy.
This year’s event at Newbury is scheduled to run from 28th to 30th November, 2013.
