New Jersey Awards GameAccount Preliminary License

GameAccount Network, one of the leading providers of Internet Gaming Systems, has announced that the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement has awarded it a single transaction waiver after having applied extensively for a full Casino Service Industry Enterprise license. This allows it to become an interactive gaming software provider in New Jersey.

The GameAccount Network already holds licenses in the United Kingdom and Alderney jurisdictions. The approval of its application to engage in business in the State of New Jersey is GameAcount Network’s first US filing for a gaming license in the US.

According to Dermot Smurfit, the Chief Executive Officer at GameAccount Network, they are one of the few European internet gaming companies with considerable accumulated experience in the US land-based casino Industry. Smurfit added that their decision to file and seek licensing in New Jersey guarantees that they are positioned to provide land-based casino operators with a top-notch, proven internet gaming system.

Smurfit thanked his fellow directors and shareholders for undertaking the long and difficult licensing and disclosure process that was required in order to support GameAccount Network’s licensing ambitions. He added that it will be a privilege for them to become a New Jersey-licensed entity.

GameAcount Network President North America, Julius Patta, added that several more states are expected to regulate Internet gaming throughout the coming business cycle and that GameAcount is positioned to become a partner of choice in offering simulated and real-money gaming to land-based casino operators wishing to capitalize on this great market opportunity.
