888Casino to Sponsor World Snooker’s Shoot-Out Event

888Casino.com is thrilled to announce that it will be title-sponsoring the World Snooker’s Shoot-Out event for the first time.

The spectacular, fast and furious one-frame Shoot-Out event, with ten-minute frames and a shot clock, is scheduled to take place at the Tower Circus Arena in Blackpool from Friday, 24th January to Sunday, 26th January, 2014.

The world’s top 64 Snooker players will be invited to compete in the event which will take place over a period of three days.  The Shoot-Out event will receive widespread television coverage from Sky Sports.

Martin Gould will be defending his title which he won by beating Mark Allen in the final last season.

Barry Hearn, the World Snooker Chairman, said that they are thrilled to welcome 888casino.com on board for what has become known as snooker’s most exhilarating quick-fire event.  Hearn added that snooker is a fast growing sport and that the exposure that they can offer for the 888casino.com brand has resulted in them getting involved with a variety of events this season.

Hearn also said that the 888casino.com Snooker Shoot Out will once more provide the fans with fantastic entertainment.

According to the Senior Vice President of 888.com, Itai Pazner, the 888casino Snooker Shoot-Out will join numerous other partnerships that they have made with the popular sport recently and over the years.  Pazner added that the fast paced format is due to offer an entertaining event that they are hopeful the fans and their customers will truly enjoy.
