Bally Technologies And Boyd Gaming Enter Enterprise-Wide Systems Agreement

Premier manufacturer and distributor of advanced technology based gaming products, Bally Technologies, announced an enterprise-wide systems agreement with Boyd Gaming Corporation. The deal will allow 18 Boyd Gaming casinos in seven states, including Nevada, access to Bally’s slot machines, iView Display Manager (DM) and Elite Bonusing Suite. The technology provided by Bally’s iView DM includes slot machine monitoring, marketing messages, and player accounting and tracking. it also allows the casino operator to offer secondary bonus games on the main screen with interruption of play. Boyd’s casinos will also be able to offer its customers downloadable promotional slot machine credits. Wall Street estimates an annual benefit of around $34 million to Bally from the deal although financial details have not been disclosed.

iView DM, when combined with the Elite Bonusing Suite, enhances the overall slot-play experience with tools such as Virtual Racing and DM Tournaments. Executive VP and COO of Boyd Gaming, Paul Chakmak, believes that Bally’s innovative systems solutions enable the company to differentiate their properties from the competition. On the other hand, Bally’s senior vice president of systems research & development and IT, Sethuram Shivashankat, said it was humbling and rewarding that Boyd Gaming chose the company’s systems solutions, which enables them to take their bonusing programs and interaction with customers to the next level.

Bally Technologies Inc. is showcasing its products at stands #N7-140 and #S12-120 at ICE Totally Gaming in London from Feb 4-6. Visitors will experience how Bally connects the gaming world via its cross platform solutions.
