WSOP.com Brings World Series of Poker Satellites To Nevada And New Jersey

There is good news for grinders in Nevada and New Jersey with WSOP.com announcing the launch of multiple satellite tournaments in the two states. Since online poker is now regulated in Nevada and New Jersey, the World Series of Poker has been made available at WSOP.com to online poker players in the United States. Each week, poker players have a chance to win a seat to the World Series of Poker Main Event and a WSOP bracelet tournament of a player’s choice with a $1,500 buy-in. The Main Event is alleged to have a $10 million first-place guarantee. WSOP.com offers a minimum 93-seats guarantee to the Main Event with a number of satellites likely to be added closer to the time of the event.

WSOP officials say that WSOP.com is the only online site to offer direct buy-in satellites to WSOP events. Weekly satellites include WSOP Wednesdays with entry to any $1,500 event. Seats to the Main Event are also at stake every Wednesday at WSOP.com. There is a 27.5 Rebuy & Addon Satellite that takes place at 7pm local time to the $10,000 WSOP Main Event with one seat guaranteed. The other tournament is a $11 Rebuy & Addon Satellite to any 2014 $1,500 WSOP event starting at 9pm local time. There is one seat guaranteed each week.

There are WSOP Main Event seats up for grabs every Saturday in Nevada and New Jersey. These tournaments feature a $215 buy-in while more than one seat to the Main Event may be awarded, depending on the number of players taking part. One seat will be handed out to the WSOP Main Event for every 50 players in the satellite. There are three different way to qualify for the $215 WSOP Satellite, which includes daily qualifiers, single table tournament satellites, and by earning 1,500 Action Player Points.

WSOP.com will host their largest direct satellite, the WSOP 25 Seat Main Event Scramble to the WSOP Main Event on July 5th, 2014 in Nevada. At least 25 seats will be awarded at the tournament which is to be run only on WSOP.com Nevada.

Players that find the buy-ins too high can opt for daily qualifiers that feature buy-ins as little as $1.10. WSOP.com Nevada and New Jersey will offer qualifier tournaments at different buy-in levels start at $1 around the clock.

There is several Single Table Tournament (STT) qualifiers avail under the Sit & Go tab at WSOP.com. These tournaments begin as soon as the table is full. Further details are available at WSOP.com.
